The Daring Way Workshops

“Owning our own story and loving ourselves through the process is the bravest thing we will ever do”

Brene Brown

Be You

Learn how to let go of who you think you're supposed to be and embrace who you are, cultivating the belief that, I AM IMPERFECT AND I AM ENOUGH!

Be Seen

Develop the courage to be all in, to be vulnerable, to show up and be seen in the important arenas of your life. Transform the way you live, love, parent and lead.

Be Resilient

When we put ourselves out there, we're going to fall, and have face-down moments, things we might even call failures. Learn the skills for rising after any fall, large or small and what it takes to get back up and re-write the ending to your own story.

Dr. Brené Brown is a researcher professor at the University of Houston, Graduate College of Social Work, where she has spent the past ten years studying a concept that she calls Wholeheartedness, posing the questions: How do we engage in our lives from a place of authenticity and worthiness?

Shout Outs for The Daring Way™

"I had the good fortune to attend the Daring Way Workshop with Lillie during an exceptionally stressful time. I found it to be a wonderfully helpful and grounding experience. I felt really uplifted by our days together and the people with whom I shared the experience. Lillie creates such a comfortable, positive, and welcoming environment for everyone. Thank you!” --MA - Charlotte

"I took the Daring Way Workshop with Lillie Marshall over a weekend in January.  It was a life changing event.  The fact that Lillie is certified in Brene Brown's programs makes all the difference.  The group we had was personally relevant, connecting and illuminating.  Lillie cooked all the meals for us and they were delicious; I felt cared for and pampered.  While not all the weekend was easy for me, I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a way forward in their life.  Changes happen though this program." --CB - Gastonia

"This work is going to change the world. You need to understand what a gift you are bringing to the world." -- SS - Charlotte

"I like how I had to examine my own feelings about things...closer look at my own thoughts and feelings. And I had to open up and talk about it. Often I haven't even faced my own thoughts, ideas, feelings. So it was good to reflect and open up. I left feeling like I received tools to make changes in my life. Also, in looking at (with a magnifying glass) some of my issues, I realize I don't want to live there any more, so these tools will help me kick this junk that's been stealing my life, out the door." -- KM - Charlotte

"Thanks so much for including me in your workshop. Thanks for all the hard work you put into it and for all the delicious food! I enjoyed it so much and now feel I have the tools I need to work on me! -- KG - Charlotte

"Prior to working with Lille I was `hesitant to finish Brene Brown "The Daring Way" but once I did, on the urging of a dear friend I realized that the book triggered many thoughts in me that I needed assistance to uncover and really explore so I could not just live this life but thrive in it.  . That's where Lille has come in. As a fellow health trauma survivor she was uniquely posed to assist me in recognizing how I've used my medical challenges to "armor-up" and essentially hide from living the life I so desperately desired. After our ten weeks working together I've noticed that my love barriers have gone from opaque walls of steel to paper thin layers of tissue and am confident that they will fall away completely as I continue this work. I have Lille's guidance to thank for that. I am so much more hopeful for the blessings the New Year will bring then I've been in a long time. If you're considering the Daring Way workshop in general and working with Lille in particular please go for it- and may it be as great a decision for you as it was for me."  -- SA - Maryland

The Daring Way Model with the focus on the 10 guideposts is something I believe I can use as a tool in my life when I am having those feels/thoughts “on the left-side” as reminder for what to do instead."  -- TN - Charlotte

"Thank you for an extraordinary weekend. It really was inspiring and life changing. I unlocked so many things. I so appreciate you opening your home to all of us. You are an amazing host and chef. I'd be honored to sit at your table anytime!" -- SB - Charlotte
